What actually stops the afternoon glare on a big view window?
In order of effect: external venetians or roller shutters stop the heat at the glass itself, sunscreen roller blinds inside cut glare and load while keeping the view, and automation makes it happen on schedule whether you're home or not.
Is motorisation worth it, or a gimmick?
On a reachable standard window, it's a comfort upgrade. On Welgemoed's wide sliding doors, high glass and multi-blind walls, it's the difference between blinds you actually use and blinds you don't. Wind-sensored awnings are genuine storm protection for an elevated stand.

Are your blinds safe for small children?
Chain and cord tensioners are fitted as standard on everything corded, and we'll steer nurseries and kids' rooms toward wand, cordless or motorised options with nothing dangling to reach.
Do you cover Welgemoed's older recesses and non-standard openings?
Yes. Inside-mount blinds sit tailored and minimal but need enough recess depth; where a recess is shallow or non-standard, outside mount usually gives better coverage and can make the window feel larger. We check this on-site, not from a phone call.
